excellent location buffet breakfast variety problematic wifi no shelves absent wardrobe
the location was excellent. it was very close to the ostbahnhof. i also appreciated that the buffet breakfast had a good variety. the staff kept it refreshed until the very end of service, which i found thoughtful.
the wifi did not work properly for a few days . it was a problem for many guests, i heard. i also noticed there were no shelves or a wardrobe in the room. this was annoying as i stayed for a few nights.

friendly staff convenient location clean room unreliable wifi limited storage
the staff was friendly. i found the location convenient near transport links (s-bahn and u-bahn stops). the room i had was clean and nicely presented.
wifi was not working reliably. there were no shelves or wardrobe in the room.

train station friendly staff clean room water pressure tv service loud guests
i found the hotel to be only a minute's walk from the train station. the staff were friendly. the room was spacious and clean. i thought the hotel was cozy.
The water pressure in the shower was not very good. the tv said 'service not available' when i wanted to watch things from my phone. some guests were loud at 5am. This woke me up.

Excellent Hotel Near Ostbahnhof
early check in comfortable lobby free coffee
The hotel is a short walk from Ostbahnhof station. I was allowed to check in early, a pleasant surprise. The lobby is comfortable. It provided a good space to relax after checking out. I also liked the 24-hour availability of free tea and coffee.
The scrambled egg at the breakfast buffet was overcooked each morning.

The breakfast buffet offered many sweet and savory options. The hotel bar had a good selection of beers, drinks, and snacks available for purchase (I tried a local beer!).

The hotel's lounge area featured comfortable sofas and tables. The rooms were simple, but included everything I needed. Air conditioning was available in the room.

some issues encountered
mislabeled dispenser loud music
the shower had issues the soap dispenser was mislabeled containing hair softener instead of soap conversely the softener bottle contained soap this mix-up was unexpected the tv advertised content casting yet this feature did not work a disappointment i experienced loud music early one morning it disturbed my sleep inconsiderate guests were the cause.
